Police folowed and stopped this car because it smelt so strongly of cannabis
A CAR being driven past an unmarked police vehicle on the A64 near Tadcaster smelt so strongly of cannabis that the officers followed it and brought it to a halt.
They found several bags of cannabis inside the Ford Fiesta and arrested the driver, a 24-year-old man from Wakefield, on suspicion of possession with intent to supply cannabis, said North Yorkshire Police.
The man was later released under investigation while inquiries continued.
