AN AMERICAN solo artist has announced a 16-date UK tour next year, including one date at York Barbican.
Belinda Carlisle has announced she will perform ‘The Decades’ winter tour next year, to mark her 35th year in the music industry, performing at York Barbican on October 14.
A spokesperson for York Barbican said: “Rock stars come and rock stars go and in an ever-changing landscape of shifting musical trends, few artists truly stand the test of time.
“Belinda Carlisle is one of those rare talents who does and returns to York for her latest tour celebrating her long illustrious career in the music industry.”
With ‘The Decades Tour’ the internationally acclaimed recording artist will celebrate her rich musical catalogue and musical prowess, including hits such as Heaven is a Place on Earth, Summer Rain.

York Barbican is the largest music and arts venue in the city, hosting some of the biggest touring acts in the country such as Morrissey, Russell Brand and Little Mix.
