Fire in York suburb
FIRE crews were called out to a blaze in a York suburb yesterday evening.
At about 5.30pm last night North Yorkshire Fire and Rescue were called to Danebury Drive in Acomb after reports of a house fire.
Both Acomb crews attended and on arrival it turned out to be a large amount of rubbish and fencing that was alight between two houses. It was put out in due course.
