THE Ancient Society of York Florists has cancelled its summer show in the wake of the coronavirus.
The oldest horticultural society in the world - now in its 252nd year - had been due to stage the event on July 18.
It still hopes to be able to hold its autumn show on Saturday September 5 at Stockton on the Forest Village Hall.
