FIREFIGHTERS wearing full personal protective gear assisted paramedics at a medical call-out in York.
The Yorkshire Ambulance Service said crews helped extract a patient from a property in Tang Hall on Wednesday afternoon.
It said firefighters wore full PPE as a routine precaution during the coronavirus outbreak when assisting the service.
A family member contacted The Press to say the incident was not Covid-19 related.
