Many former office workers will have found that working from home is just as efficient and won’t need to return to their offices even when allowed to.

Many businesses will then move to smaller premises, most probably out of city centres where rents and rates are astronomical.

With this in mind, will the huge amount of new office space planned for the York Central development be needed, or will it be an actual waste of space?
