A letter signed by the Lord Mayor, Janet Looker, and the council leader, Keith Aspden, has been sent to York’s twin towns of Dijon and Munster expressing solidarity in the context of the current virus threat, and looking forward to the time when we can resume our town-twinning activities.
The letter seemed all the more appropriate as I heard so many people over the weekend singing We’ll Meet Again.
Chris Kyriacou, Badger Hill, York
