When out cycling during my exercise period recently the sun was shining, the birds singing, the cycle/pedestrian path full of fellow cyclists, joggers, dog walkers and family groups.
It was a near perfect day for cyclists. My mind turned to the recently deceased champion of the cycling fraternity, ‘Pedalling Paul’ Hepworth, and how happy he would have been to see the cycle paths being so well used. Of course he would not have been pleased with the circumstances that brought this about.
