THE coronavirus pandemic is the world’s biggest health crisis in a century and, as York’s local newspaper, The Press has a duty to report on how it is affecting the lives of ordinary residents in the city and surrounding towns and villages.

We want you, our readers, to tell us about the impact of Covid-19 on your lives.

It may be you have lost loved ones and want to pay tribute to them, or you may want to speak about the care they were given while in hospital.

Or you may not have suffered such a tragedy, but are still isolated in your home and would like to talk about the challenges that is posing.

Or perhaps you are stuck in your home but have fantastic friends or neighbours who are pulling out all the stops to ensure you have enough food, or are always chatting over the fence or gate to ensure you are not feeling lonely, and you would like to pay tribute to them.

It could be you are in the frontline of the battle against the coronavirus, and would like to speak about your experiences, and perhaps have a message to the people who still aren’t obeying the social distancing rules.

Whatever your circumstances, we want to hear from you. Please send an email with your stories, along with your full name and contact details, in particular your phone numbers, to newsdesk@nqyne.co.uk. Thank you, from The Press reporting team.
