Can anyone better our ‘lockdown potato’, asks Mary Morton?
A surprise Mother’s Day gift arrived from my thoughtful daughter - a huge sack of lovely, ‘mucky’ potatoes. My husband and I are self isolating so you can imagine how happy we are to be well stocked.
On opening the sack, I was greeted by a huge, seven inch long potato.
A thought sprang to mind - perhaps a Press ‘Lockdown Biggest Potato Competition’ might just be a light-hearted diversion from the present-day doom and gloom?
