AN ART gallery in York has stepped up to offer an online exhibition to artists who have sold through them recently or in the past.
Pyramid Gallery, based in Stonegate, York, has chosen to set up the online exhibition to entertain art lovers during the Coronavirus pandemic.
Gallery owner, Terry Brett, said: “We need to survive in these strange days, and so do our artists.
“We wanted to do something positive for them.
“It has given us an aim and lots of work to do, which is very useful for moral.”
Artists have already submitted work for the online show, and images are being placed on the website all the time.
Once purchased, those that live within the York postcode can have the art delivered to them.
The show will continue as long as there is a Coronavirus crisis.
The exhibition page title ‘STRANGE DAYS’ has been inspired by a song by the band The Doors. It can be viewed at: https://bit.ly/3bvESLo
