LABORATORY departments from across at the University of York has chosen to collect unused items which can be donated to the NHS to support medical workers.
The staff collected up all of the spare protective gloves, sterile needles & syringes, paper towels, hand soap, lab coats and even tea bags yesterday.
All of these items have been requested by the NHS, who continue to work tirelessly in the battle against the coronavirus outbreak across the UK.
David K Smith, an academic at the University of York, revealed this on Twitter, he said he was "proud," of the department for choosing to donate the items to those in need.
