Beware all ye visitors to our fair city: Big Brother could be watching and recording your every move and digital transaction under a scheme being considered by City of York Council (High-tech bid to monitor city visitors, March 10).
Don’t forget, this system would also record the same data from York’s residents.
Who would have access to all this highly personal information which could be politically useful to anyone with this access?
A much better idea would be total surveillance of everything going on in certain offices at council HQ.
