The highlight of a CINTA Sunday lunch (served 12 noon until 4pm) is the CINTA Sunday sharer for two, made up of chicken supreme, topside of beef and honey mustard ham – so there’s no need to get food envy as you can enjoy all 3 meats. True to Yorkshire, the sharer is also served with home-made Yorkshire puds, herb roasted potatoes and an array of seasonal veg. Anyone who's already been will know that the portions are brilliant - you might even need a doggy bag to take home!
The choice doesn't end there, check out one of the pies available on a Sunday or even a selection of the global tapas from the main menu available all week. Vegan? What can be better than a traditional Sunday lunch served to you in warm, friendly surroundings and complimented by a vast choice of delicious wines, craft beers and cask ales?
Completely refurbished a little over a year ago, the Cherry Tree, is warm and welcoming with exposed beams and bare brickwork blending the old with the new. Our very own Horbury Ales micro-brewery is located to the rear of the pub and supplies the bar with at least 4 different cask ales, some of which end up in our delicious steak & ale pie, quite often an option on a Sunday if you don’t fancy a traditional roast. Add to that guest ales, specially selected wines, artisan gins and spirits and you just may end up staying longer than you expected.
The Cherry Tree Sunday lunch is no ordinary Sunday lunch and, whilst the menu varies slightly from week to week as our chefs take advantage of seasonal produce, you’ll be able to tell that it has been freshly prepared and will always come with a healthy serving of chef’s gravy from his very own stock. At Bistro 42 we pride ourselves in the fresh produce we use daily from our local farm shops. We are a transparent, loyal and honest restaurant chain who accommodate for the community of Ossett and Horbury. Both of our restaurants have a 5-star hygiene rating.
Bistro 42 is open 7 days a week from 9am. Our Sunday service includes traditional Sunday lunch, Sunday specials board and a Sunday serving platter (for 2 people) … a “carvery on a plate.”
Throughout 2020 we are refurbing our Horbury Bistro and we have plans in place to expand our Ossett Bistro with some exciting new events coming up.
