AN ELDERLY pedestrian has died after being hit by a lorry in York.
It happened this afternoon (January 29) on Outgang Lane in the Osbaldwick area.
A spokesperson for North Yorkshire Police has confirmed that it was a collision involving a lorry and a pedestrian.
They said the elderly pedestrian has been pronounced dead at the scene.
The force added that no arrests had been made but the driver has been interviewed.
