THE A1 northbound between the A64 and Boston Spa was fully closed this morning (January 28) due to a van fire.
The carriageway was closed between junctions 44 and 45 after the van caught fire near Bramham.
Police and firefighters were called to the scene.
West Yorkshire Police's Roads Policing Unit said no-one was injured.
The carriageway has since reopened.
