I am appalled at the application for an 11-storey building in Rougier Street (The Press, January 11).
It would be completely out of scale with other buildings within the city walls and would create a dangerous precedent for future schemes within the city.
If it is considered necessary to finance the proposed Roman Museum, I can do without the museum.
