Stonegate in York which will undergo a £500,000 investment in new paving
I AGREE that Stonegate should be resurfaced (The Press, December 19) but are very heavy lorries still going to be allowed down to break it up again?
Yes, shops need to be restocked so when the street is closed it will be a good chance to find an alternative way of doing it going forward.
No doubt an outside consultant can be found to do it as no one at the council seems capable!
