Can I, through the columns of The Press, impress upon those cyclists who insist on riding around in the dark without lights on dark, rainy nights that they are a mite tricky to spot in the dazzle of oncoming headlights and falling rain.

No driver wants to collide with a cyclist. So please give drivers a chance to see you and avoid what can be a life-threatening situation for a cyclist.

Time to light up, folks.
