Dozens of people attended Pleasington Crematorium for the service marking the life of Luke Noone, from Blackburn, who died after going missing.

Mr Noone, from Islington, was found in a reservoir near Punstock Road, Darwen, 22 days after he was last seen at around 10pm in that area.

Lancashire Telegraph:

Family and friends were asked to wear bright colours to reflect Mr Noon's personality.

Mr Hayes said: "He was drawn to water from his early years, it brought him peace and solitude from time to time.

"It is where he got his love for fishing.

"He was happy with his family and friends around him and had simple hobbies to fill his days.

"We can no more than describe his life with broad brush strokes it is up to you to provide the finer details for yourselves."

Lancashire Telegraph:

During the service Perfect Day by Lou Reed was played.

Thoughts from Mr Noone's family members were read out by Mr Hayes.

Floral tributes were also left at the crematorium.

Keeley Noone, Mr Noone's sister, said: "You are such a beautiful soul.

"You were selflessness and caring.

"You always made people smile even when you did not feel like smiling.

"It's painful standing here today. But you are truly loved.

"You made such an impact on people's lives.

"I will always keep you close in my heart.

"I will miss the arguments over the last piece of cake or washing up."

"He had a special bond with friends.

"In his short life he had done a great deal of travelling.

"Luke was remembered as a happy go lucky lad."

Speaking on behalf of Mr Noone's mother, Mr Hayes said: "Son I miss you.

"I have heartache that's difficult to heal.
