West Mercia Police are appealing for help following a theft from a vehicle.

Between 1am and 1.30am on Monday, November 11, a group of young people attacked a car in the central car park in English Walls, Oswestry.

A window was smashed and a small purse was taken. Incident number 0024s 111119.

Meanwhile police are also appealing for help after an attempted burglary in Gobowen.

Overnight between Wednesday and Thursday, November 6 to 7, a bin was moved and put under a window of a house in Old Whittington Road, Gobowen.

A window was smashed and a male, believed to be in his late teens or early 20s who was at the door ran off when challenged.

There was no evidence of entry and an attempted distraction burglary was suspected. Incident number 0203s 071119.
