A FLOOD alert for the Upper River Ouse in and around York has been removed.
The alert, meaning flooding is possible, was last in force at 12.35pm today (November 9).
In addition, a flood warning, meaning flooding is expected, has been removed for the the River Derwent at Buttercrambe Mill, as has the alert for Tidal River Ouse from Naburn Lock to Selby.
The alert for the Lower River Derwent remains in place due to high levels on the river around Elvington.
