THREE elderly women were taken to hospital after a car crash in a North Yorkshire village.
Fire crews were called to the collision, which involved two cars, on Knaresborough Road in Bishop Monkton, near Harrogate, at about 5.40pm on Thursday.
North Yorkshire Fire and Rescue Service said three elderly women in one of the cars were given first aid by the crews, and then taken to hospital by ambulance as a precaution only.
