HEAVY rain may cause flooding in York and North Yorkshire, forecasters have warned.
A yellow warning has been issued by the Met Office, saying heavy rain is expected tomorrow afternoon and evening, and into Saturday.
It says there is a small chance of homes being flooded and danger to life.
Spray and flooding could also lead to difficult driving conditions and some road closures, and there is a small chance of some communities becoming cut off by flooded roads, it adds.
