A MAN has died after coming off a bridge in North Yorkshire.
Members of the public were asked to avoid the area today as emergency services worked at the scene of the incident at Spa Bridge in Scarborough.
North Yorkshire Police initially reported that the incident happened at Valley Bridge but have now confirmed it was Spa Bridge.
In a tweet just after 2pm today, Saturday, police asked people to stay away and said they were trying to establish the full circumstances surrounding the man's death.
