A CHILD on a bike was involved in a collision with a truck on a busy road in York this morning (September 17).
The collision happened on Hull Road around Tang Hall Lane.
A spokeswoman for North Yorkshire Police said the child was "knocked off their bike" and their injuries are believed to be minor.
Police officers were called to the crash at about 8.40am.
The road was partially blocked and the incident caused traffic jams in the area.
