A girl was rescued by firefighters from a basketball hoop
A GIRL has been rescued by firefighters - from a basketball hoop.
Humberside Fire & Rescue Service said a crew went to Swinefleet Road in Old Goole at teatime yesterday.
A spokesperson said a 'female child' was released from a basketball hoop by firefighters using a triple extension ladder, but did not say how the child came to be in the hoop.
