The A168 has been closed because of smoke from a fire in a field
A MAIN road in North Yorkshire has been closed because of smoke drifting across from a field on fire.
North Yorkshire Police tweeted that the A168 south of Northallerton -between Thotnton-le-Beans and Northallerton - closed due to smoke near Watergate Farm.
"Avoid the area, diversions in place," added a spokesperson. "Updates to follow."
