Firefighters tackled a coach fire on the North York Moors
A COACH has been badly damaged after catching fire on the North York Moors.
North Yorkshire Fire & Rescue Service said the single decker passenger coach was well alight on the A169 at Fylingdales when crews from Pickering, Whitby, Robin Hoods Bay, along with colleagues from RAF Fylingdales, arrived at just after 6pm yesterday.
Firefighters wearing breathing apparatus used five hosereels to extinguish the fire and make the vehicle safe.
