A man has been arrested over an alleged asault on a pensioner in Acomb
POLICE investigating an alleged assault on a pensioner in Acomb have arrested a man.
North Yorkshire Police issued an appeal recently over the attack on a man in his 80s last month. The force published a CCTV image of a man they wanted to speak to about the incident, in which the pensioner was allegedly punched in the face.
The force has now tweeted that a man had been identified and arrested, and was due to attend court later this month.
