A cheque is presented to York Rescue Boat by York Lions Club
YORK Rescue Boat has been handed a cash boost to help fund its life-saving activities in the months to come.
York Lions Club presented a cheque for £2,000 to the rescue boat charity at Haxby Carnival on Saturday.
Lions president Jane Coleman had chosen the York Rescue Boat as her charity for her presidential year 2018/2019.
A rescue boat member said the money would help its funds for several months to come.
