Robin Hood's Bay, where a man has been rescued from the cliffs
FIREFIGHTERS have rescued a man who fell down a cliff edge at Robin Hood's Bay.
North Yorkshire Fire & Rescue Service said the incident happened at just after 4.30pm today, with a crew from Whitby going to the scene.
A spokeswoman said the man had been rescued and put in the care of paramedics, and was unable to say whether he had been injured.
