People enjoy sunshine at York Racecouirse last year
WEATHER forecasters say racegoers and daytrippers in York will enjoy some sunshine tomorrow, at least until the early afternoon.
But it is expected to become cloudy later in the day and the weather is set to deteriorate further during the rest of the Spring Bank Holiday weekend, with some light rain predicted on Sunday and showers on Monday, when temperatures will only reach 14C.
The one-day meeting at York Racecourse is expected to attract more than 20,000 racegoers.
