A TEENAGER was seriously injured when she fell from her horse in North Yorkshire.
Scarborough and Ryedale Mountain Rescue Team were called out to the incident south west of Pickering last night (May 20).
The team wrote on Facebook that the 17-year-old girl was coincidentally the daughter of one of the rescue team.
It said she was airlifted to hospital where it was determined that her injuries are serious but not as bad as first thought.
