CASTLE Howard has appointed a new, York-based PR to look after partnerships and sponsorship for its 2019 programme of events.
Caitlin Hazell's appointment comes as the main tourism season starts, but her initial focus will be on the jewel in the historic house's crown, the Castle Howard Proms.
Now in its 28th year, the Proms is one of the UK's largest al fresco proms concerts outside London's Hyde Park.
The event is on August 3-4, and boasts guest soloists Wynne Evans and Sarah Fox, with a pop spectacular headlined by Ronan Keating.
