A YORK pub wants to extend its licence by an hour to make up for the clocks going forward.

The Corner Pin in Tanner Row has applied for permission to extend its licensable activities until 3am and close at 3.30am on Fridays and Saturdays.

And owners Marston’s Brewery also want to be able to extend the pub’s hours during British Summer Time “to replace the lost hour”.

The clocks went forward on March 31 this year.
