Garage fire near York
TWO people were treated for smoke inhalation after a fire at a garage in York.
North Yorkshire Fire & Rescue Service were called to the garage in Stockton Lane at just after 5.20pm on Monday.
Crews from Huntington, York and Acomb were sent to the scene, along with a water bowser from Tadcaster, and managed to put out the fire.
A spokeswoman said two casualties were treated on scene by the fire service for smoke inhalation, and the cause of the fire was due to an electrical fault.
