A WOMAN has been taken to hospital with a suspected foot injury after a collision with a bus in York city centre this afternoon (May 4).
Yorkshire Ambulance Service (YAS) was called about the collision on Coppergate at around 2.05pm.
A spokeswoman for YAS confirmed that it involved a bus and a female pedestrian.
She said that the pedestrian is believed to have suffered a foot injury and was taken to York Hospital.
Coppergate was blocked in both directions.
York Travel, the official travel feed from, City of York Council, tweeted shortly after 3pm to say the road was back open.
