BOTH lanes have now reopened following an earlier crash on the A64 near Fulford, York.
The incident happened on the eastbound junction with the A19, Fulford, at 1.30pm.
North Yorkshire Police said the collison involved a car and a lorry, which has resulted in a lane being blocked.
In a statement, North Yorkshire Police said: "There has been a collision involving car and lorry on the A64 just after the Fulford on-slip at 1.30pm.
"No one was injured. A passing breakdown service vehicle alerted police and our officers attended to make sure everyone was safe, to keep traffic moving and to arrange recovery of the damaged car."
In a tweet, Sgt Paul Cording said: "Minor delays on A64 eastbound at junction with A19 Fulford,York, due to a Road Traffic Collision. We currently have lane 2 blocked whilst we await recovery. Please allow extra time for your journey."
