POLICE are investigating an aggravated burglary in the Selby District in which a woman was threatened with a screwdriver.

North Yorkshire Police said it happened between 6.35pm and 7.05pm yesterday (April 29) near the Green Lane Kennels at Little Heck.

The force confirmed that two men entered a static caravan and threatened the victim with a screwdriver before leaving the scene in a silver Jaguar S Type.

It is not believed any property was stolen, the force added.

It said that the victim, a woman in her 40s, was not hurt during the incident but has been left feeling very upset and shaken.

Anyone who witnessed two men, a silver Jaguar, or any suspicious activity in the area around the time of the incident, is asked to get in touch with North Yorkshire Police.
