THE Grand Opera House is searching for a Snow White for this winter's pantomime in York.

Producers Three Bears Productions are on the lookout for a female performer aged 18 or over from North or East Yorkshire to play this leading part in Snow White And The Seven Dwarfs.

This will be a contracted paid role and applicants for the auditions need to be available from the start of rehearsals on December 2 to the end of Chris Moreno's production run on January 4 2020.

Auditions will take place at the Grand Opera House, in Cumberland Street, on Wednesday, May 8 from 10.30am to 5pm.

If you think you have a glorious singing voice and can act, dance and want to be considered for this role, please send your CV and photograph to writer, director and co-producer Chris Moreno, Moat Farm, Norwell Woodhouse, Nottinghamshire, NG23 6NG or send an email to cdm@chrismoreno.co.uk by this Friday, May 3.

Already confirmed for the cast are Australian soap star, comedian and presenter Mark Little as The Evil Sorcerer and dame Steve Wickenden, in his fourth year at the Grand Opera House, as Nurse May Brexit. Last Christmas, Wickenden ended up playing both Ugly Sisters, Calpol and Covonia, in a one-man double act after Ken Morley had to leave the show through illness.
