THE chairman is continuing to review the evidence presented to him in Phase One of the Grenfell Tower inquiry, and is making progress with drafting his report.
The fire was on June 14, 2017, nearly two years ago, and Phase Two aims to start in January 2020.
Two facts were obvious within days of the fire - the cladding turned a small fire into an inferno that the fire brigade were unable to control, and the advice given to people to stay in their flats led to them being trapped inside.
Why do inquiries take such a long time to come to a conclusion?
