POLICE are warning people about 'hoax calls' being made by fraudsters who are claiming to be representatives of HM Revenue and Customs.
In a tweet, North Yorkshire Police said: "We have been made aware of calls being made by fraudsters claiming to be HMRC and threatening individuals with warrants for their arrest unless outstanding taxes are paid - please rest assured these are hoax calls."
