A CAR has crashed into a telegraph pole in York.
North Yorkshire Fire & Rescue Service said the single vehicle collision happened at 3.50pm today in Bowes Avenue.
It said a crew from York had been called to assist police at the crash, which involved a Vauxhall Vectra which had collided with a telegraph pole.
It added that nobody was trapped or injured, and firefighters used spreaders to 'pop' the bonnet and make the vehicle safe.
