FARMERS and agribusinesses are being invited to visit operational research farms and have their say on where scientists should focus their support for the future of agriculture.
Food resilience research programme N8 AgriFood is throwing open the gates to three of its university farms, including the University of Leeds' Spen Farm, near Tadcaster, on June 21.
Sally Howlett, of the University of York, who is coordinating the Farm Open Days, said: "We want to create a network of farmers who are interested in working as equal partners in research with us."
