TWO friends from York have braved their first skydive for charity.

Harry Evans and Ed Gowling, both 20, jumped from a plane at 10,000ft over Bridlington in aid of the Cystic Fibrosis Trust.

In total, they have raised £1,608 with gift aid for the charity.

Ed said: "I think I was really nervous before the skydive.

"But it was amazing. It was really good fun."

He added that they chose to raise funds for Cystic Fibrosis Trust as they both know someone who has the condition.

In 2017, they completed the Yorkshire Three Peaks Challenge and raised £1,200 with gift aid for the same charity.

Harry and Ed are both students at Swansea University, where they study biology.
