I was very saddened to see the fire at Notre Dame. So sad: especially when the cathedral has been there for 850 years.
It is such a symbol of love and hope for Paris, indeed for the whole world.
However, I am encouraged to see the outpouring of solidarity and fundraising already to turn things around.
Seemingly, there is indeed hope for the future.
