HOLY week services continue at York Minster, with a programme of special seasonal services.
Archbishop of York, Dr John Sentamu, will lead the annual Maundy Thursday Chrism Eucharist, washing the feet of a number of people from around the dioceses to commemorate Jesus washing the feet of his disciples before the Last Supper.
In the evening, the Right Revd Dr Jonathan Frost, Dean of York, will lead the liturgy, which is followed by a vigil, known as The Watch, at All Saints' Chapel.
Further celebrations will be taking place throughout Good Friday, Easter Eve and Easter Day, with evensong sung by the Minster choir at 5.15pm during the week and 4pm on Easter Day.
For full details of all services over Easter see yorkminster.org
Entry to the Minster is free on Good Friday and Easter Day.
