IRISH crooner Daniel O'Donnell will play York Barbican on October 11 on his 2019 Gold Hits tour.

O'Donnell, 57, is the only artist to score a hit in the British album charts every year since 1988, amassing 38 albums in total, 32 of them making the Top 30, and he has achieved eight number one DVDs and videos too.

O'Donnell makes regular appearances in the Billboard World Music Chart; has received an honorary MBE; appeared on Top Of The Pop and This Is Your Life and competed in Strictly Come Dancing.
