AS summer approaches can we hope that when MPs return to Parliament after their Easter holidays many will have experienced a Brexit ‘Damascus’ moment, and that instead of being on the wrong side of the ‘withdrawal bill’ they will do the right thing and vote for it, thus putting the nation out of its misery?
This would enable millions of cricket lovers to concentrate on more important matters, such as beating the Aussies for the Ashes and winning the cricket World Cup at Lords.
